You can now import recipes from popular websites!

New Features:

  • Ads are now turned off by default when the app is first installed.
  • Import from popular websites!*
    • Additional sites will be added in the future and will automatically be available to your app.

To modify a recipe in your collection, just follow these steps:

  1. On your Android device, start the My Recipes app.
  2. Long-press a recipe from the list that you would like to modify and choose “Edit Recipe” from the pop-up menu.
  3. Change the details about the recipe that need to be modified.
  4. When you are done, click the menu button on your device and choose “Save”.

  2. Hit the menu button on your device. This will bring up the app menu.
  3. Choose “New Recipe”
  4. Enter the recipe details.
  5. When you are done, click the menu button on your device and choose “Save”.

To delete a recipe in your collection, just follow these steps:

  1. On your Android device, start the My Recipes app.
  2. Long-press a recipe from the list that you would like to delete and choose “Delete Recipe” from the pop-up menu.
  3. You will be prompted to confirm. Choose “yes” to delete the recipe.

You can sync your recipes with your Dropbox account to backup your recipes and to view or modify them from your computer or other mobile devices! To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On your Android device, start the My Recipes app.
  2. Hit the menu button to bring up the app menu.
  3. Choose “Settings” then check the “Sync with Dropbox” checkbox. You will be brought to the Dropbox Settings page.
  4. Hit the “Link to Dropbox” button.
  5. Accept the notice that pops up. This notice simply notifies you that syncing with Dropbox requires data to be sent over the internet (using mobile data) and could be visible to others on the internet if they acquired the proper URL.
  6. You will be brought to the Dropbox authentication/permission screen. Logon to Dropbox (if not already done) and click the “Allow” button.
  7. SUCCESS! Your recipes will automatically start syncing with Dropbox in the background.

If you have already synced your recipes with Dropbox, you can modify your recipes from any computer or mobile device that has internet access! Just follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to http://myrecipeseditor.bsapps.com
  2. To add a new recipe, click the + button at the top-right side of the page.
    To modify a recipe, click the recipe you would like to modify. Then click the pencil button at the top-right side of the page.
  3. Enter the recipe details.
  4. Click the “Save” button. You will be redirected back to your list of recipes.
